Maintenance and Optimization of Ecological Space in Natural Resource-Advantaged Cities: A Case Study in Zhangzhou, Fujian Province

Natural resources are the material basis of urban construction, as well a crucial factor that determines livability and employment opportunities given city. Under traditional development model, cities rely on their natural to develop regional economy. However, this is always accompanied by environmental impacts. Maintaining optimizing ecological environment such during economic not only related sustainable transformation resource-based cities, but also affects overall status urbanization construction. This study takes Zhangzhou City, Fujian Province, typical case analyze characteristics space. We explored positioning optimization strategy based proper management space systems in future. The morphological spatial pattern analysis method (MSPA) minimum cumulative resistance (MCR) model were used identify sources extract potential corridors between sources. Our findings indicated area construction land present significant opposition. identified 18 important core areas 21 corridors, which concentrated west north Zhangzhou.
